Raina Miller

Raina Miller grew up scouring the ancient subterranean ruins of St. Francis’ Folly, searching for a piece of the mystical Scion, in Tomb Raider. She spent incalculable hours creating her own characters and personas inspired by the ass-kicking women of Sailor Moon and the Ki-blasting Z Fighters of Dragon Ball Z. Her pastime was creating new universes filled with stories that resonated with her.

After escaping a small town and a cloistered mindset, her writing exploded. Her fiction and nonfiction works echoed her dissatisfaction with politics, education, and media, all of which had failed her, time and again. One short and particularly enlightening stint in the military later, Raina began to pursue her writing on a professional level.

Currently, Raina resides in Spokane, WA, where she writes full time and surrounds herself in an ever-growing mountain of sticky notes on her work desk. When not actively working to tear down the “system,” she spends her time researching, brushing up on LGBTQ-related issues, and DMing a D&D campaign for her friends.
